"People think I'm interested in doing art, but what I want is to remember." Lalo Gomes.
It is the year 3118: ALERT! ALERT! WHAT REMAINS OF HUMANITY, WHICH IS ALREADY FAR-GONE, WILL SOON REDUCE TO A CRUMB OF STARDUST WITH A LOW CHANCE TO BE SOMETHING RELEVANT IN THE FUTURE OF LIFE, TIME AND HISTORY!
It is the year 3118: The leftover kin of earthlings live exiled in outer space after having given away control over planet earth… they wanted a renewal for their race: no earth, no ground, no problems. In return they got: no heritage, no facts in common, no relations… as a consequence they face: no men, no me, no memories… inevitably that translates to human beings with no expressions, no language, no words…
It is the year 3118: Formal sources suggest, this is the beginning of the end: humans could not survive the unthinkable if words start to run out of power, if words lose all backgrounds, if words are gone.
Can the loss of words cause human extinction? Would you go in the search of words if this starts to get bad? What if I told you this is already happening? How to get through this moment? Do you remember what words are good for?
We are throwing a fascinating mission-party on board an artistic spaceship, on which we plan to do both: a rescue to the words from the past that could save humanity in the future and, at the same, a party to celebrate that words are alive in the now, because through them is how we can share the future of life, time and history.
In any case, “WORDHOLES”, is just an enjoyable fictional playground, a playful excuse to be together, and at least an intimate celebration of the “us” in the “now”.
